The aim of the project is to document, conserve and rehabilitate the Roman aqueduct of Gadara so that it can be opened for visitation and adventure tourism. Once conserved and rehabilitated, the tunnel system will represent a significant enhancement of the site value and diversify its tourism attraction.

  • 3D modelling of the aqueduct system.
  • Stabilization, consolidation and restoration of the selected section of the aqueduct.
  • Rehabilitation of the selected section of the aqueduct to make ready for Visitation.
  • Long term maintenance and management plan of the aqueduct system.
