The objectives of this project are to: increase opportunities for individuals to pursue entrepreneurial endeavors and job-oriented skills among the target group in the Northern Jordan area.
Yarmouk University will design and facilitate a three-part training module to develop participants’ skills in leadership, analytical problem solving, management, entrepreneurship, and ICT business solutions/optimization for SMEs. Targeting twenty (20) young people between the ages of 18 and 35 from the Northern Jordan area, with 70% female participant representation, Yarmouk will also develop a mentorship network intended to promote and scale up the methods of sustainable business practices and processes and provide participants opportunities to start and optimize small businesses in their communities.

Outcomes:
By the end of the program:
- Three (3) training modules covering Business management, Entrepreneurship, and Occupational Soft Skills developed.
- 20 mentorship relationships established.
- 20 NJE participants/mentees participate in MEPI-funded workforce development programs.
- 85% (of 20 NJE participant trainees) demonstrate increased soft skills required to obtain jobs.
