The objectives of the study include:

  • Collect data on the size and number of forced migrants at each stage.
  • Identify the degree of political instability; through a set of indicators such as: political protests; political turmoil, government crises, political relations and border closures by neighboring countries; refugee crimes.
  • Identify the pillars upon which the Jordanian political system relied to accommodate and address political instability.
  • Monitor the issues that may cause future conflict between Jordanians and refugees, in addition to techniques that can be used to resolve conflict situations.
  • Identify the reciprocal image among refugees and Jordanians regarding the rights acquisition of each party.
  • Identify the values, political and religious trends impacting the behavior of each party towards each other, and would affect the political stability.
