BITTCOIN-JO project will focus on creating the infrastructure needed to create self-sustainable Technology Transfer offices (TTOs) according to a new model that not only focuses on the practical steps to create and run those offices but also on providing legal, licensing, business and innovation training courses to: (1) scientists in the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Jordan, (2) administrative staff in those institutions, and (3) their students.
BITTCOIN-JO will provide steps for the long-term aim of the project is to support the creation of "sustainable Technology Transfer Offices in the higher education institutions in Jordan" that are committed to knowledge transfer between universities and industry. Our focus is to further improve the quality of impact of innovative products on the economy and society.
The specific aim is to support Jordanian universities in developing their capacities in the area of TT. There will be specialized training at the EU partner institutions and companies from Jordan to improve lack of experience of Jordanian HEI on TT by benefiting from the European HEIs who already have sustainable TTOs.
