Ambassador of Canada, Mrs. Donica Pottie signed #CFLI contribution agreements (CA) with new local partners in Jordan under the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) om 13 July 2021

Seven CAs were signed with: Seenaryo سيناريو Jordan Country Director Lara Mclovr, Justice Center for Legal Aid (JCLA) Executive Director Hadeel Abdel Aziz, Jordanian Masarat for Development and Progress CEO Talal Ghnemat, مركز المواطنة - Citizenship Center CEO Abdullah Aljbour, جامعة اليرموك Prof. Ghazi Maqableh, Jordan University of Science and Technology JUST Acting Dean of Scientific Research Prof. Tareq L. Mukattash, and Jordan Open Source Association President Basel Ariqat.

Through theater and life skills training, Seenaryo will increase participation and resilience for #youth in Mafraq and Zaatari camp. In Zarqa. JCLA will establish a community center to provide access to comprehensive services for #GBV victims. Citizenship Center will increase women and youth participation and promote inclusive citizenship in a digital world “Citizen Podcast”. Yarmouk University “She Leads Network” will increase the participation of female academics at the university in leading international research projects and JUST will strengthen the right of people with disabilities in participation and integration through awareness, advocacy and creating a digital knowledge sharing platform on accessible places. While JOSA will build the capacity of #women rights organizations to respond to online gender-based violence and abuse, and to raise awareness and advocate for digital safety for women and girls. Last but not least, Jordanian Masarat for Development and Progress will work on strengthening gender #equality in political life in Jordan through advocacy and capacity building for decision makers, in government and the Parliament, on gender responsive legislations and policies: Women Voices.
