International cooperation has become an integral part of Yarmouk University, and this has been reflected in all the activities of the university, especially participation in international academic activities as an essential component of the university's development, while preserving the quality of scientific research as well as education and its continuity. And based on this concept, the establishment of a Department for International Relations and Projects at the university came to meet an urgent need to activate the international dimension of the university and as a means to develop the quality of education at the university in addition to finding a wider field for workers and students to view and benefit from international programs for scientific exchange, training and study.
The Department of International Relations and Projects aims to help the university achieve its goals by linking the university's activities with prestigious universities and scientific and research institutions and activating the university's vision towards internationalization by activating participation in international projects and exchanging students and workers and joint programs and contributing to the development of the university's website in the English language to serve these purposes.
Achieving internationalization in the fields of scientific research and higher education at a steady, advanced pace and enhancing the university's competitive position among the world’s countries in the field of higher education.
The Department of International Relations and Projects is responsible for developing the university's competitive strategy at the international and regional level by establishing bridges of academic and cultural cooperation between Yarmouk University and international universities and institutes, Arab and international embassies, organizations and centers and promoting cooperation by signing agreements, MoUs and exchange programs between the university and these institutions, implementing and following them, and searching for resources of funding and support necessary for scientific research projects and projects for the development of the university and its assistance in advancing its academic, social and scientific burdens.
