The International Relations and Projects Department announces the opening of applications for Erasmus+ scholarships for Bachelor’s and Master’s students under the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Program for the Fall Semester of the 2026/2027 academic year at Freie Universität Berlin, Germany.

 

The deadline for submitting applications is Saturday, April 25, 2026.

Financial Support:

Students will receive a monthly stipend of €900, in addition to a €395 travel allowance.


Important Notes:

  • Applicants are strongly advised to carefully review the English-taught programs listed in the links above, as most other programs are taught in German.
  • The attached file in the original email includes courses offered in English during the fall semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Similar courses may be offered in the fall semester of 2026/2027 academic year.

Eligibility Requirements for Bachelor’s Students:

  1. The student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of “Good”.
  2. The student must have successfully completed at least 30 credit hours.
  3. The student must not be in their final semester at the university.
  4. The student must provide proof of English language proficiency through one of the following (within the last five years):
    • The university’s English Proficiency Exam (minimum score: 70%), or
    • TOEFL (minimum score: 72), or
    • IELTS (minimum score: 5).
  5. The student must not have received any academic or disciplinary warning, or higher penalties, during the current or previous academic year.

Eligibility Requirements for Master’s Students:

  1. The student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of “Very Good”.
  2. The student must have successfully completed at least 6 credit hours.
  3. The student must not be in the thesis or comprehensive exam stage.
  4. The student must provide proof of English language proficiency through one of the following (within the last five years):
    • The university’s English Proficiency Exam (minimum score: 70%), or
    • TOEFL (minimum score: 72), or
    • IELTS (minimum score: 5).
  5. The student must not have received any academic or disciplinary warning, or higher penalties, during the current or previous academic year.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Cumulative GPA (maximum of 10 points).
  2. English language proficiency (maximum of 10 points).
  3. Deduction of 5 points for students who have previously benefited from student exchange opportunities.
