Call for Applications: Student Exchange Scholarships for Master’s Students (thesis stage only, currently conducting their scientific research) under MARE Project
   
International Relations and Projects Department announces the opening of applications for research-based study scholarships under MARE Project for Master’s students who are in the thesis stage and currently conducting their scientific research (as the scholarship is a research-based study scholarship) for fall semester of the academic year 2025/2026 to Messina University / Italy.

Financial Support:
  • The University of Messina provides a monthly allowance of €1000.

  • The student will also receive a travel allowance of approximately €395.

     

    The student must arrive at the University of Messina before 15/12/2025

  

Eligibility Criteria for Master’s Students:

  1. A minimum GPA of Very Good.

  2. Completion of at least 6 credit hours, and currently in the thesis stage, actively conducting research.

  3. Proof of English proficiency taken within the last 5 years from the date of application:

    • A minimum score of 70% in the English proficiency test conducted by the university for this purpose, OR

    • TOEFL score of at least 72, OR

    • IELTS score of at least 5.

  

Selection Criteria:

  1. Student’s GPA – up to 10 points.

  2. Language proficiency – up to 10 points.

  3. A deduction of 5 points will apply to students who have previously benefited from student exchange opportunities.
