We are pleased to introduce the Seoul International Winter School (SIWS) 2026, which will take place from February 8 to 21, 2026, in Seoul, South Korea.

This short-term academic and cultural program offers a dynamic blend of Korean language classes, Korean studies lectures, and hands-on cultural activities. SIWS is open to students from all universities and academic backgrounds who are eager to experience Korean culture in one of Asia’s most exciting cities.

• Korean Studies Lectures (in English):
  Topics include K-Pop, K-Dramas & Movies, Korean Cafés, Food & Drink Culture, UNESCO Heritage Sites, and more.

• Korean Language Classes:
  Intensive, level-based courses from beginner to advanced.

• Cultural Activities:

• Field trip

• Welcome & farewell parties

• “Design Your Own Seoul” project

• Interaction with Korean Peer Advocates (PAs)

▣ Students from UOS Partner Institutions

• Nomination Period: October 1 – December 31, 2025

• Program Fee: 1,700,000 KRW (approx. 180,000 JPY)
  Includes tuition, cultural activities, and on-campus housing.

▣ Students from Non-Partner Institutions

• Early Bird (Oct 1 – Nov 30, 2025): 1,900,000 KRW (approx. 200,000 JPY)

• General (Dec 1 – Dec 31, 2025): 2,200,000 KRW (approx. 240,000 JPY)
